La journée vient de commencer
Cette nuit Tu as pris soin de moi
Toi le Dieu qui ne dort pas
Merci car je peux dormir en paix
Tu es toujours là pour me protéger
Quelle grâce d'être ce matin parmi les vivants
Je t'en remercie infiniment
Si je vis aujourd'hui ce jour
C'est sûrement pour partager Ton amour,
Ta puissance et Ta bienveillance
De montrer que la vie avec Toi à un sens
Sans Ton souffle de vie reçu chaque matin
Je ne serais pas devenu un poète chrétien
Inspiré de tous les mots
Que Tu fais descendre depuis là haut
Je ne serais pas là entrain de respirer
Entrain de Te louer et adorer
Je n'aurai pas ce feu en moi
Je ne connaîtrais pas la véritable joie
Je serais peut être tombé bien bas
Je n'aurai pas connu la puissance de la croix
Je serais passer à côté de l'éternité
Et surtout de ma destinée !

The day has just begun
Tonight you’ve taken care of me more
You, the God who does not sleep
Thank you because I can sleep in peace
You’re always there to protect me
What grace to be this morning among the living
I thank you very much
If I live today
Surely to share your love,
Your power and Your benevolence
To show that life with you makes sense
Without your breath of life received every morning
I would not have become a Christian poet
Inspired by all the words
That you bring down from up there
I wouldn’t be breathing here
Entrain to praise and worship you
I won’t have that fire inside me
I wouldn’t know true joy
Perhaps I would have fallen too low
He would not have known the power of the cross
I will miss eternity
And above all of my destiny!
