La femme samaritaine lui dit: Comment toi, qui es Juif, me demandes-tu à boire, à moi qui suis une femme samaritaine? -Les Juifs, en effet, n'ont pas de relations avec les Samaritains. - Jésus lui répondit: Si tu connaissais le don de Dieu et qui est celui qui te dit: Donne-moi à boire! tu lui aurais toi-même demandé à boire, et il t'aurait donné de l'eau vive.

John 4:9-10
Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
